Des informations contradictoires m’ont été communiquées. D’une part, le panneau "Additional Drivers" indique que le pilote ATI/AMD est installé, mais le "Détails" le panneau me dit que la "Gallium 0.4 on llvmpipe (LLVM 0x300) "
est en cours d'utilisation.

Comment puis-je m'assurer que le pilote ATI est utilisé?

Je suis passé par un programme de suppression des pilotes fglrx installés installés par Ubuntu, puis de suivre ces étapes http://ubuntuportal.com/new-ATI-catalyst-12-3-has-been-released-how -to-install-in-ubuntu-12-04-and-linux-mint-12 / pour installer les pilotes AMD mis à jour.
Cela a donné des résultats pour moi.
Recherchez la chaîne "LoadModule" dans /var/log/Xorg.0.log. Vous devrez répéter la recherche plusieurs fois jusqu'à ce que vous obteniez celui qui montre votre pilote vidéo. Tout ce qui est indiqué dans ce fichier est celui qui est utilisé.
