automatic-upgrades
est installé et configuré, mais il ne semble jamais fonctionner car il y a toujours des mises à jour de sécurité en attente d'installation lorsque je vérifie.
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AutomaticSecurityUpdates semble impliquer que /etc/cron.daily/apt
est le mécanisme par lequel automatic-upgrades
fonctionne. Cependant, /etc/cron.daily/apt
est manquant.
dpkg -S
indique que apt
est propriétaire de ce fichier.
Ai-je raison de penser qu'un manquant /etc/cron.daily/apt
empêcherait unattended-upgrades
de fonctionner? Si oui, comment pourrais-je le créer?
(Je ne suis pas le seul à avoir ce problème, comme en témoigne ce post sur les forums Ubunt , qui n'a malheureusement pas de solution.)

Même problème ici sur le serveur 10.04. Installé sans mises à niveau, mais /etc/cron.daily/apt
n'y est pas.

Autant que je sache, le fichier manque dans le .deb - une erreur d’emballage. Je n'ai pas encore trouvé le moyen de le faire connaître aux emballeurs.
