Comment puis-je exécuter Warcraft 3 sur Ubuntu 18.04?

Le guide ici: Comment installer World of Warcraft? n'a pas fonctionné depuis une décennie. il faut répondre à cette question à nouveau et dans le contexte particulier d'ubuntu 18.04.1 et de l'arrêt du développement de Wine:

Le vin traverse une transition un peu étrange. Les responsables de la branche mise en scène de Wine l'ont récemment abandonnée, mais le projet Lutris l'a rapidement repris.

Au moment où vous lisez ceci, ce n'est peut-être pas un problème, mais c'est le cas pour le moment. En conséquence, le guide principal se concentrera sur la dernière version de Vanilla Wine d'Ubuntu, mais vous pouvez absolument installer les dernières versions de staging ou Gallium Nine lorsqu'elles seront disponibles.

Je pense que cette version particulière d’Ubuntu est incompatible avec les anciennes solutions d’exécution de Warcraft 3.

Je reçois cet écran:

J'ai essayé beaucoup de méthodes différentes:

  1. Les trois des installateurs Lutris
  2. Jouer sur Linux

  3. Ce guide qui est spécifiquement pour 18.04, avec la mise en scène de vin, mais en utilisant cette source:

    Sudo apt-add-repository 'deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ bionic main'

    et cela publication de WineHQ

Mais à la fin du premier guide, je lance:

J'ai rencontré le même problème: même version Ubuntu, mêmes essais, même tout; et j'étais sur le point de devenir fou. J'ai eu recours à l'installation du jeu sur une machine Windows, à la compression du dossier du jeu et à son déplacement sous Linux.

Et j’ai découvert que d’une manière ou d’une autre, le war3 LAUNCHER fonctionne mieux que la configuration pour installer le jeu.

Vous avez toujours besoin d'une clé pour utiliser le jeu, donc je me fiche de donner l'exécutable .

Cela a parfaitement fonctionné avec staging-pba-3.18 pour moi, vous devrez me dire si cela fonctionne pour vous.

MODIFIER:

En ligne devrait bien se passer, vous aurez besoin d’un compte warcraft3 "battle.net", que vous pourrez créer dans le jeu, la principale préoccupation serait Blizzard anti triche ne pas aimer le vin, mais beaucoup de gens, y compris moi-même, ont joué SC2 et Overwatch sur le vin pendant un moment, et Blizzard ne semble pas s'en soucier, alors je ne vois pas pourquoi ils se soucieraient de War3.

Je ne sais pas à propos de LAN tho, et je ne peux pas vraiment le tester ...

Pour la résolution, c'est vraiment amusant, car ce n'est pas un bogue Linux, certaines personnes ont également le même problème sous Windows depuis le patch 1.30: D
Deux solutions possibles sont:

  • Utilisez le -nativefullscr argument lors du lancement du jeu (cela ne fonctionne pas pour moi, ma carte graphique n’émettrait rien après le lancement du jeu, mon écran se comportait comme s’il était déconnecté).

  • Editez le registre du vin pour forcer la résolution de démarrage, ce qui fonctionne bien, même si vous vous sentez un peu bidouillé. Les clés sont dans HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Blizzard Entertainment/Warcraft III/Video et vous souhaitez modifier resheight et reswidth à la taille de votre écran, les valeurs sont en hexadécimal, mais la fenêtre de saisie devrait vous permettre de taper des valeurs décimales .

Notez que, bien que le je sera rendu dans la résolution et le rapport hauteur/largeur souhaités, le menu restera en 4/ .

J'ai rencontré des problèmes similaires. J'ai eu de telles erreurs dans la console et le programme d'installation a expiré. (de 1,26 essayant de mettre à jour à 1,30)

J'ai finalement résolu mon problème en configurant Wine Mode Windows de Windows XP à Windows 7:
