Le modem USB ne fonctionne pas dans la nouvelle installation 18.04
J'ai installé Ubuntu 18.04 (gnome) sur mon ordinateur portable (double démarrage avec Windows 10). Je ne parviens pas à connecter mon téléphone (Moto G5S plus) à l'ordinateur portable (certains autres téléphones fonctionnent mais pas tous les autres). Le partage de connexion a été activé sur le téléphone et fonctionne avec les autres ordinateurs portables (sur lesquels Ubuntu 16.04 à 18.04 est installé. J'ai essayé un usb live boot USB 16.04 sur l'ordinateur portable. Le partage de connexion fonctionne ici.
Il serait bon de savoir s’il s’agit d’un problème de pilotes ou de quelque chose d’autre et comment le résoudre.

J'ai réussi à utiliser le câble USB après avoir activé le débogage USB sur mon téléphone. Ce n'était pas nécessaire pour les systèmes que j'ai utilisés jusqu'à présent, donc je ne comprends pas pourquoi cela était nécessaire.
L'activation du débogage USB (OnePlus 3) sur Ubuntu 18.04 ne fonctionnait toujours pas pour moi, mais je l'ai résolu en supprimant l'adresse MAC dans le profil réseau.
Voici mes étapes (après avoir activé le partage de connexion USB):
- Ouvrez les paramètres, accédez aux paramètres réseau (sous Ubuntu 18.04)
- Sous Profil de groupe Ethernet USB, ouvrez les paramètres (icône représentant une roue dentée) sur votre profil "auto".
- Sélectionnez l'onglet Identité
- Supprimer ou effacer l'adresse MAC disponible, laissez-la vide
- Appliquer les modifications
Cela fonctionne, sans activer le débogage USB
J'ai aussi Moto G5 et je ne pouvais pas l'attacher. On dirait qu'il y a un conflit avec ModemManager: le modem USB continue à se déconnecter . J'ai désactivé et arrêté et cela a fonctionné pour moi.
Sudo systemctl stop ModemManager.service
Sudo systemctl disable ModemManager.service
