Mise à jour d'Apt-Get: échec de l'extraction; impossible de se connecter à aucune source
Je me rends compte qu'il y a des dizaines de questions "apt-get update: échec dans la récupération" (j'ai parcouru tout ce que j'ai pu trouver), mais ma situation actuelle est propre à 12.04 et concerne toutes les sources; pas seulement le tableau de bord. De plus, j’ai essayé plusieurs serveurs différents en Europe et aux États-Unis, ainsi que le "serveur principal" (où que ce soit) et ils donnent tous le même résultat: je ne peux me connecter à aucune source logicielle.
De plus, je suis à peu près certain que le problème provient de la mise à niveau de 11.10-> 12.04 effectuée ce matin, car les mises à jour fonctionnaient immédiatement avant.
Les mises à jour du gestionnaire de mises à jour fonctionnaient correctement et je pouvais télécharger quelques choses (mutiler) du centre de logiciel sans incident, ce qui me laisse penser que je peux me connecter à un sous-ensemble des serveurs Ubuntu (cependant, plusieurs autres serveurs Ubuntu - comme des extras - et certains serveurs canoniques sont répertoriés comme "impossible de se connecter").

Je viens de trouver la réponse ici . De toute évidence, apt ne peut pas gérer de très nombreuses sources de logiciels. J'ai donc pu résoudre mon problème en désélectionnant toutes les options sauf celle à laquelle j'avais besoin d'accéder. Ce serait une vraie douleur à faire fréquemment, mais c'est mieux que rien. Dans l'onglet "Autres logiciels", désactivez tous les référentiels PPA, ne laissant que les référentiels officiels Ubuntu actifs. L'activation d'un trop grand nombre de référentiels PPA (non officiels) peut rendre votre gestionnaire de paquets instable.
Oui, la mise à jour du serveur de noms fonctionne. Si cela fonctionne, vous avez probablement mis à jour vos paramètres IP pour qu'ils soient statiques et votre serveur ne peut plus résoudre les URL.
Essayez ce qui précède et si cela fonctionne, redémarrez. Si cela échoue après le redémarrage, procédez comme suit:
Editez le fichier de modèle pour le resolv.conf. Le serveur Ubuntu le reconstruit à chaque démarrage.
Sudo vi /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/tail

nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4
Enregistrez ensuite le fichier et redémarrez le service:
Sudo /etc/init.d/resolvconf restart
8.8.8.8 et 8.8.4.4 ne sont que des serveurs de noms de Google. Vous devriez pouvoir ajouter votre propre FAI si vous le souhaitez. Si vous n'aimez pas vi, utilisez nano ou vim.

Ajoutez la ligne nameserver 8.8.8.8 à votre /etc/resolv.conf.
Cela définit des serveurs DNS alternatifs (les serveurs DNS publics exécutés par Google), en cas de problème DNS. C'est similaire, bien que pas identique, à cette autre réponse (qui a été postée plus tard et donne une méthode différente pour essentiellement la même reconfiguration).
Ceci est dû à certains packages de proxy, tels que anon_proxy, qui transmet toutes les connexions HTTP via un proxy local à l'aide d'une variable d'environnement. Donc, pour modifier cette modification/etc/environment et commenter HTTP_PROXY et http_proxy dans les deux dernières lignes.
