Je pense passer de Windows à Linux ces derniers jours. J'ai lu quelques questions ici, mais je veux en savoir plus sur certaines choses, en particulier dans les pilotes. Ils ont dit que Linux ne nécessitait pas de pilotes, mais j'ai lu l'une des réponses à une question qui dit que certains matériels doivent être installés, comme le WiFi et les cartes graphiques.
Je sais comment utiliser Linux et la plupart du temps, j'utilise un terminal simplement parce que les guides en ligne me disent toujours quelles commandes exécuter. Cependant, je ne sais pas quoi faire en dehors de cela.
Sous Windows, je peux voir tout le matériel installé via le Gestionnaire de périphériques. Est-ce qu'une telle chose existe pour Linux? Est-ce une commande ou existe-t-il un logiciel graphique pour le faire?
Je pense que votre meilleur pari serait lshw
, lspci
, lspcmcia
et lsusb
. Celles-ci sont toutes basées sur des terminaux, ce qui signifie que vous devez les exécuter dans un terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T).
Ces trois commandes (et leurs indicateurs, voir man <command>
pour plus d'informations) peuvent vous en dire beaucoup sur votre système.
Cependant, plus Tous ces outils sont limités à la possibilité de voir uniquement ce que votre noyau peut voir. Si le noyau ne le voit pas, cela signifie généralement que le matériel est mal installé, mort ou en panne. De plus, ces commandes ne vous aident pas à effectuer un dépannage actif sur vos périphériques. Ils sont purement informatifs - ils ne vous aideront pas directement à installer les pilotes, etc.
lshw
Un rapport complet sur le matériel dont vous disposez sur votre ordinateur. Il ne détecte pas tout , mais c'est définitivement une bonne étape.

lspci
Cette commande limite sa recherche au bus PCI et à tout ce qui y est connecté. C'est bon pour des informations plus détaillées sur les périphériques physiques de votre ordinateur. De plus, lspci -k
affiche tous les périphériques et leurs pilotes de noyau appropriés, ce qui est utile pour voir ce qui est activé activement et ce qui ne l'est pas.

Cette commande listera tous les périphériques PCMCIA installés sur votre ordinateur. Cependant, la plupart des ordinateurs modernes n’ayant plus de ports PCMCIA, cette commande renverra probablement la valeur null.

Cette commande est essentiellement une lspci
pour USB. Il affiche les bus USB et tout ce qui y est connecté. Il est préférable d’utiliser les périphériques de votre ordinateur.
