J'ai installé Ubuntu 16.04 beta 2 le lundi 18 avril. Lorsque j'essaie d'installer nvidia-current, nvidia-361 ou la version installée par jockey, lightdm ne parvient pas à démarrer complètement ou je ne peux pas dépasser la fenêtre de connexion. Lorsque je me connecte, lightdm.log signale que je me suis connecté avec succès. Pour certaines raisons, il affiche le volume sonore que j'ai défini puis revient à l'écran de connexion.
J'ai un ordinateur portable hybride nVidia/Intel avec la technologie Optimus (je n'ai pas vraiment besoin de changer de processeur graphique, mais je veux que nVidia fonctionne correctement), le modèle exact de nVidia est le GT630M.

Pour le moment, je suis coincé avec nouveau/intel, ce qui est parfois assez limitatif. Une idée de ce qui peut se passer? Peut-être que le fichier manquant /etc/X11/xorg.conf pourrait être le problème, mais je ne sais pas pourquoi il n’est pas là.
Remarque: à compter de la version principale de 16.04, l’erreur est passée de aucun périphérique détecté et aucun écran trouvé à Échec d’initialisation de l’extension GLX (Compatible NVIDIA X pilote non trouvé). Lightdm démarre plus facilement, mais je ne parviens toujours pas à dépasser l’écran de connexion.
Modification ultérieure: le démarrage sécurisé était désactivé tout le temps. J'ai installé bumblebee qui a ajouté le pilote nvidia (essayé 304 et 340), mais il n'a pas pu démarrer de programmes utilisant la carte vidéo nVidia. Une enquête plus poussée a montré que modprobe pour nvidia échouait à cause de quelque chose comme ceci:
could not insert 'nvidia': Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
J'ai essayé une version ultérieure du pilote (361), mais il a continué d'échouer. J'ai lu quelque part que les pilotes i915 causaient ce problème, mais je ne les avais pas installés.
Plus d'informations: Cela semble être la cause première. Avec le pilote nVidia installé avec son module DKMS, je n’ai pas pu l’insérer dans le noyau (avec modprobe). L'erreur rapportée était qu'il ne pouvait pas trouver un port PCI spécifique (celui où il devrait être conforme à lspci). Je n'ai pas enregistré le libellé exact, désolé pour cela.
Grâce aux efforts collectifs de la communauté, j'ai réussi à le faire fonctionner.
Tout d’abord, allez à un terminal (en appuyant sur ctrl-alt-f1 si vous ne pouvez pas vous connecter ou via le mode de récupération). Installez les pilotes nVidia version 364 (paquet nvidia-364).
Sudo apt-get install nvidia-364
Si le paquet n'est pas trouvé, ajoutez le ppa qui le contient:
Sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa
Sudo apt-get update
Redémarrez votre ordinateur.
Sudo reboot -i NOW
Si vous n'êtes pas renvoyé à l'écran de connexion, mais que vous ne voyez que votre arrière-plan, forcez-le à recréer vos paramètres utilisateur (enregistrement d'une sauvegarde):
Sudo mv ~/.config/dconf/user ~/.config/dconf/user.old
Ensuite, redémarrez lightdm:
Sudo service lightdm restart
Si vous souhaitez installer bumblebee, sachez que sa configuration sera mal configurée et qu'il recherchera nvidia-current même si nvidia-current n'est pas installé. Je l’ai édité pour faire référence à nvidia-364 à la place (car les fichiers installés se trouvent dans/usr/lib/nvidia-364) et j’ai pu démarrer des programmes avec optirun.
J'ai eu quelques problèmes avec Nvidia et 16.04 - enfin, ça a fonctionné. sur un nvidia gtx980m (ordinateur portable de jeu asus G752) - Je vous suggère de vous assurer que vous essayez d’installer en ligne de commande, et pas simplement d’activer les pilotes propriétaires à partir de l’interface graphique ... Je ne décris pas la boucle de démarrage, mais ma résolution était en basse résolution (800x600) et cela ne fonctionnerait pas du tout - mais la version nouvelle allait bien. (tous via l'interface graphique des pilotes)
J'ai finalement abandonné la ligne de commande et installé le même paquet via "Sudo apt-get install nvidia-xxx (dans mon cas, c'était 361 - j'ai aussi essayé 352)
il s’est ensuite installé normalement, mais un menu apparaît dans le terminal indiquant que le démarrage sécurisé "UEFI" est activé et que vous devez entrer un mot de passe unique pour le désactiver au redémarrage "pour pouvoir démarrer en mode non sécurisé. .
Une fois cela fait, au redémarrage, un menu de la fenêtre UEFI est apparu et j'ai choisi de changer le mode de démarrage en mode non sécurisé. Il m'a ensuite demandé plusieurs caractères "par position" (par exemple, entrez le caractère 6, puis le caractère 4, etc.), puis entrez à chaque fois. Finalement, après 3-4 caractères, cela m'a permis de désactiver le démarrage sécurisé. Ensuite, la machine a redémarré à nouveau et a déclaré "démarrage en mode non sécurisé" et les pilotes ont ensuite fonctionné.
A également découvert lors de l’installation de virtualbox également via synaptic, mais au moins cela a fonctionné et a fait apparaître un menu en utilisant cette méthode ....

En appuyant ctrl-alt-f1 depuis l'écran de connexion, vous pouvez accéder à une ligne de commande. Connectez-vous en utilisant votre nom d'utilisateur et mot de passe. À partir de cette ligne de commande, vous pouvez désinstaller les pilotes nvidia en exécutant les commandes suivantes:

Comme @biff l'a dit, Secure Boot pourrait bloquer le chargement du pilote nvidia. Pour désactiver le démarrage sécurisé, installez le pilote nvidia en utilisant la ligne de commande. Ubuntu vous demandera de désactiver le démarrage sécurisé lors de l'installation.
Certains problèmes peuvent être résolus en installant l’ancien pilote nvidia.
Dans mon cas, le simple fait d'installer nvidia-364 a résolu le problème. Ma configuration est NVidia GTX 750Ti sur ASUS H170 + Intel i7 6700 + 32 Go DDR4 sous Ubuntu 16.04.
J'ai une GTX980 et je n'ai pas pu me connecter après la mise à niveau vers 16.04 (à partir de 15.10). Supprimer nvidia:
Sudo apt-get purge nvidia*
et connecté. Cela a fonctionné, mais la résolution a été limitée à 800x600.
Les étapes suivantes ont résolu mon problème:

J'ai le même problème. Exécuter Ubuntu 16.04. Intel HD4600 et Nvidia 765M. J'ai essayé toutes les suggestions ci-dessus. Cela a fonctionné lors de l'installation à l'aide de terminal, mais si j'utilise plusieurs moniteurs, cela bogue et je me retrouve dans une boucle de démarrage.
J'ai lu quelqu'un qui suggère que le pilote bêta 364xx fonctionne.
