Homebrew: Erreur: update-report ne doit pas être appelé directement

En cours d'exécution brew update je reçois les éléments suivants:

Une idée comment résoudre ce problème? Je me demande si Sophos Antivirus pourrait encore être à l'origine de problèmes.

brew upgrade mettra à jour tout packages installés. Si vous avez besoin de maintenir une version spécifique d'un binaire, utilisez la réponse de @ thanh-hải: https://stackoverflow.com/a/38464247/868724

Je viens de recevoir cette erreur. J'ai exécuté brew upgrade puis brew update à nouveau et le problème a semblé se résoudre tout seul.

Sinon, essayez simplement de relancer brew update comme suggéré par @ ashley-willis.

Exécuter à nouveau brew update après avoir obtenu cette erreur fonctionne, comme je l'ai vu suggéré sur https://discuss.circleci.com/t/brew-update-command-fails/5211 et a également travaillé pour moi, sans aucune mise à niveau ni git-fu

Edit: exécuter cd "$(brew --repository)" && git fetch && git reset --hard Origin/master va résoudre!

J'ai rencontré le même problème quand j'ai essayé

brew tap homebrew/science
brew install opencv3
brew update

Cependant, en tapant 

brew update

a de nouveau résolu mon problème.
