Le modem HP lt4112 LTE / HSPA + Gobi 4G (Huawei ME906E) QMI ne fonctionne pas 14.04

Modem HP lt4112 LTE/HSPA + Gobi 4G (Huawei ME906E, M.2 => USB)

Le "module Ethernet" est visible, mais pas le modem large bande. J'essayais BEAUCOUP de choses et une fois, une fenêtre demandant à la carte SIM apparut au hasard. Je suis entré, tout est apparu correctement dans le gestionnaire de réseau, je pouvais me connecter et utiliser le réseau LTE d'Ubuntu. Après le redémarrage, tout a disparu, impossible de reproduire depuis. Le matériel fonctionne sous Windows, le GPS du même appareil fonctionne parfaitement.

Ce modem ne fonctionne pas avec le port série, seulement wdm pour autant que je sache.

Ce qui est bizarre: il n'y a pas de périphérique cdc_ * sous/dev !! Donc, toute autre magie avec qmicli, etc. ne peut pas être essayée.

Le PC lui-même (HP EliteBook 745) est un peu difficile. Il fallait options de noyau supplémentaires pour que même le WLAN fonctionne ...

Avez-vous une idée? J'ai passé deux jours à lire des forums et à répondre à des questions similaires, mais je suis resté bloqué. C’est ma première chose que je ne puisse jamais travailler sur Ubuntu sans le demander ici.

Je l'ai fait fonctionner aujourd'hui sur mon installation Ubuntu. C'est le module QCSERIAL.C qui doit être corrigé. Vous pouvez trouver les fichiers pré-patchés ici: http://thuis.schroth.nl:8008/qcserial/

Assurez-vous de télécharger d'abord les en-têtes du noyau.

  1. Sudo apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r)
  2. Sudo rmmod qcserial
  3. Téléchargez les 3 fichiers de mon lien ci-dessus et placez-les dans un répertoire séparé, par exemple. /tmp/compile
  4. cd /tmp/compile
  5. make
  6. si aucune erreur ne s'est produite, exécutez Sudo make install
  7. Sudo modprobe qcserial

Maintenant, vous trouverez la carte dans le gestionnaire de réseau et vous pourrez l’utiliser.

N'oubliez pas de répéter cette opération à chaque fois que vous effectuez une mise à jour du noyau, jusqu'à ce que les gars d'Ubuntu aient corrigé ce bogue.

C'est toujours faux, même quand ça marche! Mais vous vous connectez montre que le pilote qcserial se lie avec succès, donc ce n'est pas un problème ici.

Le nom d'interface "usb0" est inattendu si le pilote est qmi_wwan, je pense donc que ce périphérique est géré par le pilote cdc_ether ici. Est-ce exact? Le modem a probablement plusieurs modes différents, où l’un utilise cdc_ether tandis que l’autre utilise qmi_wwan. Pourriez-vous fournir la sortie de

Cela affichera toutes les configurations disponibles pour cet ID de périphérique. J'imagine que vous souhaitez une configuration autre que celle par défaut pour le support de qmi_wwan.

(Il est également possible d'utiliser le modem avec cdc_ether. Vous utiliserez ensuite les commandes AT pour le gérer à la place de QMI. Mais ModemManager ne le prend probablement pas en charge par défaut, car QMI généralement est de loin supérieure. Et plus "standard", étant similaire entre les modems basés sur Qualcomm de nombreux fournisseurs différents)

Je l'ai eu sur Ubuntu 14.04.2 et 15.04. J'espère que cela aidera quelqu'un à comprendre le problème et à le résoudre.

N'oubliez pas d'insérer la carte SIM, sinon le périphérique n'apparaîtra pas dans NetworkManager. Dans 15.04, il est indiqué comme "non activé".
