Comment corriger l'erreur "Réglage des paramètres régionaux" lors de l'installation de vim?

Lors de l'installation de vim via le Centre logiciel, le message d'erreur suivant s'affiche:

Vous devez générer vos fichiers locaux. Ceci est fait en utilisant la commande locale-gen. L'argument nécessaire est la langue et le jeu de caractères que vous souhaitez configurer.

Par exemple, si je souhaite que mon système utilise l'anglais (US) avec UTF-8, j'exécute la commande suivante.

locale-gen en_US.UTF-8

Il semblerait que vous veniez d'Inde et que vous souhaitiez peut-être faire quelque chose comme ça.

locale-gen en_IN.ISO8859-1

première:

Sudo apt-get purge locales

ensuite:

Sudo aptitude install locales

et le célèbre:

Sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales

Cela vide le système des locales, puis réinstalle les locales et rétrograde libc6 de 2.19 à 2.13, ce qui est très probablement le problème. Puis configure à nouveau les paramètres régionaux.
