Impossible de trouver le terminal x11 dans gnuplot Octave sur Mac OS

J'utilise Mac OS Mavericks 10.9.4.

Octave 3.8.1 installé via Homebrew fourni avec gnuplot 4.6

Avoir XQuartz 2.7.6 installé.

J'ai redémarré mon ordinateur après tout.

Afin de tracer dans octave-cli tout le monde déclare que je devrais simplement "définir le terminal x11" MAIS je n'ai même pas x11 répertorié lorsque j'exécute "définir le terminal" dans gnuplot =

Bien sûr, octave-cli se plaindra que mon terminal est inconnu.

octave:1> x=1;

octave:2> plot(x);

gnuplot> set terminal aqua enhanced title "Figure 1" size 560 420  font "*,6" dashlength 1

Qu'ai-je fait de mal? Comment puis-je déboguer cette situation?

J'ai trouvé la réponse ici . Fondamentalement, gnuplot doit être réinstallé en tant que:

brew reinstall gnuplot --with-x11

Sur El Capitan, il montre une erreur. Voici donc ce que vous faites:

  1. Installez d'abord Xquartz ...
  2. brew reinstall gnuplot --with-qt
  3. Ouvrez "Xquartz" à partir des applications et PAS le "terminal".
  4. gnuplot
  5. gnuplot> `set terminal xterm 6. plot sin (x)

Vous avez au moins trois options:

  1. brew reinstall gnuplot --with-x11
  2. brew reinstall gnuplot --with-qt
  3. brew reinstall gnuplot --with-qt5

La qualité graphique des tracés est bien meilleure avec l'option 3 que l'option 1.
