Je ne parviens pas à établir la connexion haut débit mobile (j'ai créé la nouvelle connexion dans le nord-ouest) via USB 3.0 sur Dell Inspiron 5520. Ubuntu 12.04. lsusb:

Une connexion unique a été établie (avant cela, j’ai fait quelques pas aléatoires dans le BIOS), mais plus tard, tout est redevenu comme avant. J'ai trouvé les mêmes problèmes ( http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1996734 et http://smackerelofopinion.blogspot.com/2012/02/3g-using -huawei-e1552e1800-hspa-modem.html ) et fait les mêmes étapes, mais lsusb ne change pas. Une seule fois, il a changé de manière inattendue en 'Bus 002 Device 012: ID 12d1: 14ac Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.' (car il doit utiliser USB 2.0) et la connexion a été établie, mais j'ai laissé tomber l'ordinateur portable et le modem a été déconnecté. Je n'ai jamais eu accès à Internet par modem depuis ce temps, lsusb indique 'Bus 003: Périphérique 016: ID 12d1: 1446 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. E1552/E1800 (modem HSPA)'.

lsusb ne change pas. Un pilote a été trouvé, mais ce programme n'a pas pu être terminé et je l'ai arrêté avec Ctrl + C. Ça ne change rien. Merci, Vladiator.

J'ai découvert par hasard que mon Tata Photon E1552/E1800 ne fonctionnait pas comme modem sur Mint 13 si elle était connectée au port USB 3.0, mais fonctionnait à merveille si elle était connectée via un port USB 2.0 de la même machine.

En fait, lorsqu'il est connecté au port USB 3.0 de la carte mère, il est détecté sous la forme d'un fichier 12d1: 1446 et refuse de basculer en tant que modem. Lorsqu'il est branché sur un port USB 2.0 de la même carte mère, il est considéré comme un fichier 12d1: 140b et le gestionnaire de réseau le prend automatiquement comme un modem.

Je l'ai testé sur une autre machine exécutant XUbuntu et il a donné les mêmes résultats. Fonctionne comme un charme sur le port USB 2.0, mais pas sur USB 3.0.
