J'ai réinstallé les packages mais je me retrouve toujours avec les mêmes problèmes.
Le Arch wiki m'a aidé à résoudre ce problème assez rapidement.
Installez mariadb, puis exécutez la commande suivante avant de démarrer mariadb.service:
mysql_install_db --user=mysql --basedir=/usr --datadir=/var/lib/mysql
mysql_secure_installation
Arch ne tient pas la main, avec ce genre de chose. Je suppose que si vous installez mysql/mariadb à partir de la source, cela est attendu.
