Je rencontre des difficultés pour installer mon modem USB sous Ubuntu 16.04. La plupart du temps, je connecte mon modem haut débit USB en tant que CD-ROM.
Ce que j’ai compris sur le Web, c’est que usb-modeswitch
peut être utilisé pour le basculer sur un périphérique USB, mais ne parvient pas à le faire. Même l'option 'Activer le haut débit mobile' n'apparaît pas dans le gestionnaire de réseau (peut-être parce qu'elle n'est pas détectée en tant que modem).
Les choses que j'ai essayé de résoudre ce problème avec pas de chance:

pour se connecter au modem mais pas de chance, cela donne une erreur.
Version dégradée de usb-modemswitch
et usb-modeswitch-data
à 14.04 car mon modem fonctionnait dans cette version.

J'ai eu le même problème et je l'ai résolu. Vous devez installer le pilote Huawei pour Ubuntu.
1) Configuration
Avec le résultat de lsusb
dans le terminal (pour moi, le pid de mon Huawei était 12d1:15d2
, par exemple) Voir fil sur ubuntuforums.org
2) Téléchargez les pilotes:
HUAWEI Data Cards Linux (cliquez sur Télécharger le fichier). Voir download.usbmodem.com
3) Installation
