Je viens d'installer Ubuntu 16.-04 sur un tout nouvel ordinateur portable HP, apparemment avec une interface WiFi Intel (WiFi/Bluetooth combiné).
Malheureusement, je ne vois rien de l'adaptateur WiFi et le WiFi ne fonctionne pas du tout. Tout le reste, y compris Ethernet, fonctionne bien.
Est-ce que quelqu'un peut m'aider avec cela? J'ai déjà essayé de nombreuses approches de ce site, mais jusqu'à présent, pas de chance.

Vous avez le noyau 4.4. Il ne supporte pas cet adaptateur Intel. Vous avez probablement installé Ubuntu à partir de l'ISO 16.04 d'origine.
Si vous avez une connexion Internet filaire (il semble que vous ayez mis à jour votre système), installez alors le noyau HWE en lançant
Sudo apt install linux-generic-hwe-16.04
et redémarrez.
L'adaptateur sans fil devrait fonctionner.
Une autre option consiste à télécharger et à installer la version 16.04.2 "point" (ou une version plus récente). Il prend en charge cet adaptateur hors de la boîte.
Ouvrir le terminal et taper:
Sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/rtl8723be.conf <<< "options rtl8723be ant_sel=1"
Et redémarrez!
Si le problème n'est toujours pas résolu, essayez de le remplacer par ant_sel=2
.
