Lightdm envoie à tty. Impossible de démarrer l'interface graphique lors du démarrage à partir d'un disque dur, mais peut l'être lors du démarrage à partir d'un lecteur USB

Lors du démarrage, lightdm dumps to tty. Aucune interface graphique ne fonctionne - ceci est après une nouvelle installation d'Ubuntu 12.04 où l'interface graphique fonctionne lorsque vous utilisez la clé USB.

J'ai une carte graphique NVIDIA Corporation G98 [Quadro NVS 420].

Après avoir appelé startx à partir du terminal, cela ne fonctionne toujours pas. Je reçois le texte suivant dans le fichier Xorg.0.log:

Ok, alors j'ai trouvé une solution - purger presque tout Nvidia. Les premières étapes ont été effectuées via le terminal, car je ne disposais pas d’une interface graphique fonctionnelle. J'ai suivi http://peniwize.wordpress.com/2009/07/27/how-i-solved-my-nvidia-driver-kernel-module-api-mismatchj-problem/ Ce qui a essentiellement bouilli à la suivante:

Sudo nvidia-installer --uninstall
Sudo rmmod nvidia
Sudo find / -type f 2> /dev/null | grep -i nvidia | grep -i \\.ko | Sudo xargs rm -f

Sudo apt-get remove nvidia-current

Puis redémarrez:

Sudo shutdown -r now

Cela a eu un rapport incorrect de basse résolution (étiré) GUI va encore.

Puis, une fois que l'interface graphique est de retour, obtenez le gestionnaire de paquets synaptic et purgez tout ce qui reste avec nvidia sous le nom EXCEPT pour nvidia-common qui dépend de ubuntu-desktop (dans mon cas, il y avait deux paquets nvidia-common). Tout le reste va. Ensuite, redémarrez à nouveau et voilà que mon ancien ordinateur est revenu à la résolution appropriée.
