Activer php ext-xml?

En essayant d'utiliser Composer pour créer un projet Symfony 4, j'ai eu l'erreur suivante:

J'ai cherché dans php.ini pour ext-xml pour voir si je pouvais le décommenter afin de l'activer mais je n'ai trouvé aucune mention d'ext-xml. Je n'ai cherché nulle part ailleurs parce que je ne sais pas trop ce que je fais.

Il semble que vous utilisiez ubuntu 16.04 avec le ppa ondrej/php pour obtenir la dernière version de php. Dans ce cas, les noms des packages doivent correspondre à la version de php que vous utilisez:

apt-get install php7.2-xml

Vous pouvez voir les différentes versions disponibles avec quelque chose comme ceci:

apt-cache search php | grep xml

Selon votre configuration, vous devrez peut-être préfixer la commande d'installation avec Sudo.

Supprimez toutes les versions de php et installez une seule version
