Il semble que le dernier serait le plus sûr car il grandira avec la version PHP utilisée. Vous pouvez également retourner ce tableau si nécessaire pour lier les fuseaux horaires aux noms de ville.
Je le ferais en PHP, sauf que j'éviterais de faire preg_match 100 à plusieurs reprises et que cela produirait votre liste.

De plus, j'utiliserais les noms de PHP pour les "fuseaux horaires" et oublierais les compensations GMT, qui changeront en fonction de l'heure d'été ... " sur les objets DateTime ou DateTimeZone présents.

Malgré le nombre de réponses existantes, j'ai encore apporté une solution à ce problème. Les avantages de ma mise en œuvre sont:

De plus, bien que cette liste indique que les Açores sont au format GMT -1, je pense en fait que ce sont les mêmes (au moins parfois) que le GMT, mais je ne suis pas sûr.

L'utilisation de listAbbreviations () n'a aucun sens, car pour chaque zone, elle renvoie tous les différents décalages qui étaient utilisés auparavant, pas seulement les compensations actuelles. La bonne source de base de la liste est certainement listIdentifiers ().
Je générerais la liste une seule fois et l'enregistrerais pour éviter de la générer à chaque demande. Je pourrais le rafraîchir une fois par mois.
En outre, je pourrais mettre toutes les informations de fuseaux horaires dans un script js séparé et générer la liste de sélection elle-même du côté client. Le script js peut également être mis en cache, les fuseaux horaires ne changent pas souvent.
En outre, en utilisant javascript du côté client, vous pouvez connaître l’heure locale et ainsi trouver les zones qui ont la même heure (les minutes peuvent différer, la comparaison doit donc être approximative) et les afficher en haut de liste, de sorte que l'utilisateur n'a pas à faire défiler les 400 éléments. Vous pouvez également afficher les zones adjacentes (+/- 1 heure) suivantes.

Tada! C'est aussi simple que ça. Vous donne un tableau avec la clé comme fuseau horaire PHP et la valeur sous forme de chaîne au format + -Hours: Minutes
J'ai créé une classe PHP pour cela avec un plugin jQuery correspondant. Je l'ai ouvert à partir de https://github.com/peterjtracey/timezoneWidget - le code PHP est inspiré par une autre réponse stackoverflow, mais je pense beaucoup plus élégante. Le plugin jQuery offre une excellente interface pour sélectionner un fuseau horaire.

, et cela vous donne un tableau au format UTC-5:00 (America, New York)
, de sorte que vous pouvez facilement afficher un champ de sélection sur votre interface.
la première option vous permettrait de prendre la valeur de $ _POST ['quel que soit votre choix'] et de l'ajouter à UTC. ou même stockez cette valeur et appelez toujours UTC + userTZsetting à tout moment. me semble le plus facile. la dernière option serait beaucoup plus utile si les fuseaux horaires changeaient fréquemment.
Après avoir essayé toutes les solutions présentées ici et ne pas être satisfait, j'ai trouvé un script qui correspond à mes besoins et qui est plus convivial. Pour mémoire, je l’économiserai comme solution possible. J'aime les solutions copier/coller :)
Le script renvoie une sélection avec le fuseau horaire que vous souhaitez présélectionner.

Et puis vous pouvez facilement changer de format avec une simple modification du code dans la ligne ci-dessus. De plus, la validation sera beaucoup plus facile et ne nécessite pas d’expressions régulières. Il suffit de comparer la valeur envoyée par POST ou GET avec un tableau. Maintenant, il est facile de définir $ arr [$ value_sent_by_form] [0] conserve la valeur PHP compatible tandis que $ arr [$ value_sent_by_form] [1] est une valeur conviviale.
