La commande de bloc-notes Jupyter ne fonctionne pas sur Mac

J'ai installé jupyter en utilisant pip sur mon MacBook Air. En essayant d'exécuter la commande jupyter notebook, j'obtiens une erreur 

jupyter: 'notebook' is not a Jupyter command

J'ai utilisé l'option --h pour obtenir une liste de toutes les commandes de jupyter et en effet, 'notebook' n'est pas l'une des commandes. J'utilise Python 2.7 et il était déjà installé avant Jupyter. 

J'ai cherché sur google et je vois un problème similaire que certaines personnes ont rencontré avec la dernière version de jupyter mais je ne vois aucune solution. Quelqu'un peut-il me diriger dans la bonne direction?

which -a pip:/usr/local/bin/pip

which -a jupyter:/usr/local/bin/jupyter

J'ai eu le même problème. Après avoir recherché un nombre incroyable de pages en ligne et essayé autant de solutions, voici la seule chose qui a fonctionné pour moi:

pip uninstall notebook
pip install --upgrade notebook

Je ne suis pas sûr que la "mise à niveau" soit nécessaire, mais après cela, 

jupyter-notebook

et 

jupyter notebook

comme des commandes.

J'ai eu la même erreur que toi lorsque which jupyter est /usr/local/bin/jupyter. J'ai réussi à résoudre le cas en mettant à jour/mettre à jour tous mes paquets ipython. 

Sudo -H pip install --upgrade "ipython[all]"

J'ai réussi à résoudre l'affaire sous OS X El-Capitan 10.11.5 et Ubuntu Linux 16.04. Ma version de Jupyter après la mise à niveau est 4.1.0. Mon Python est 2.7.11+. Ma version de Pip est 8.1.2.

Essayez de trouver le dossier dans lequel les fichiers binaires ont été installés en utilisant cette commande à partir du dossier de base:

find . -name "jupyter"

Si vous trouvez un fichier binaire, exécutez-le directement à partir de ce chemin ou définissez-le sur $PATH.

On dirait qu'Apple veut autant que possible sortir du dossier "Systèmes". Cela vous permet de garder les virus localisés sur votre "utilisateur", plutôt que sur votre ordinateur tout entier.

Donc, si vous avez un "utilisateur" installé Python et Jupyter, vous devrez simplement vous assurer qu'ils sont trouvés avant d'essayer de l'exécuter.

Si vous rencontrez ce problème et que ce dossier existe ~/Library/Python/2.7/bin, procédez comme suit:

  1. Ajoutez votre utilisateur à votre chemin $ echo 'export PATH="$HOME/Library/Python/2.7/bin:${PATH}"' >> ~/.bash_profile

  2. Rechargez votre profil Bash $ . ~/.bash_profile

  3. Installer Jupiter avec les permissions de l'utilisateur $ python -m pip install jupyter --user

J'avais une erreur en installant jupyter sur MacOS Sierra. J'avais du mal à installer Jupyter et plus tard, nous avons trouvé la cause, donc je le partage ici.

J'ai trouvé ce problème dans MacOS Sierra et El-Capitan et je l'ai corrigé en ignorant six. 

pip install --upgrade notebook --ignore-installed six
