Vérifiez la quantité de RAM sur le serveur

Existe-t-il un moyen de vérifier un serveur (sans l’ouvrir et le regarder physiquement) la quantité de RAM présente dans la boîte en termes de nombre d’emplacements libres. Aussi, j'ai besoin de savoir combien de bélier cela pourrait éventuellement prendre?

Je sais que je peux vérifier/proc/meminfo pour le RAM mais je suis vraiment plus préoccupé par le type de bélier: combien d'emplacements sont disponibles/pris. J'ai besoin de savoir combien de RAM je peux ajouter et quel type ajouter à un particulier, mais je ne sais pas comment s'y prendre.

Un outil de Nice (en plus de dmidecode) est lshw.

Par exemple.,

Une autre option est la commande lshw (page de manuel). Elle permet d’obtenir beaucoup de choses, y compris les emplacements RAM. La sortie complète est très longue, mais Sudo lshw -short donne un résumé comprenant une ligne par RAM, qu'il y ait ou non RAM dans la fente. Ou pour les informations complètes sur la RAM, mais en omettant tout le reste, vous pouvez faire Sudo lshw -class memory.
