Mise à jour: impossible de verrouiller / var / cache / apt / archives / lock

J'exécute la mise à niveau (12.10 à 13.04) via le terminal et il reste bloqué à ceci:

Failed to lock /var/cache/apt/archives/lock

Que fais-je? J'ai un accès root. Je ne sais pas quoi essayer d'autre qu'une installation propre.

J'ai eu cela arriver. C'est parce que vous avez un gestionnaire de paquets ouvert. Voyez si vous avez synaptique, ou autre apt ouvert, et fermez-le. De même, si vous avez le gestionnaire de mise à jour graphique en même temps, vous obtiendrez la même erreur.
