Je souhaite modifier le code du widget Messages récents. Quelqu'un peut-il me dire où se trouve ce code?

Le code par défaut du widget Messages récents est dans includes/default-widgets.php mais vous ne devez pas pirater le code principal. Copiez cette fonction dans le functions.php de votre thème, renommez-la et créez votre propre widget personnalisé.

Si vous modifiez ce widget, assurez-vous de le bifurquer et enregistrez votre Widget forké en tant que nouveau Widget .

Commencez avec l'entrée Codex sur l'API Widgets .

  1. Renommer le widget

    Change ça:

    class WP_Widget_Recent_Posts extends WP_Widget {}

    ...pour ça:

    class wpse97411_Widget_Recent_Posts extends WP_Widget {}

  2. Modifiez la classe Widget en fonction de vos besoins

  3. Enregistrez votre widget:

    function wpse97413_register_custom_widgets() {
    register_widget( 'wpse97411_Widget_Recent_Posts' );
}
add_action( 'widgets_init', 'wpse97413_register_custom_widgets' );
