Modifier l'encadré des publications récentes pour afficher les miniatures des publications sans plugins

Salut, j'utilise des sous-centres pour créer un thème. Je dois ajouter des vignettes de publication au widget de publication récente, mais je suis bloqué. J'essaie le code ci-dessous, mais j'obtiens un widget de publication récente dupliqué, l'un sans images miniatures et l'autre avec des images miniatures.

Je comprends que c’est parce que je ne modifie pas le widget de publication récente, mais que j’en ajoute un autre. Ma question est la suivante: comment puis-je modifier le post récent de Wordpress Core pour afficher les miniatures avant mon titre? C’est ce que j’essaie d’obtenir en créant un widget de publication récente dupliqué.
